This week I decided to share a fun journal project I started during a three day crop with the wonderful Richele Christensen. I’m not doing a step-by-step, merely sharing the pages for inspiration. I used a lot of Tim Holtz products, including stencils, collage paper, paper dolls, inks, ephemera, collage strips etc etc. The base is a Tim Holtz booklet folio. I did swap in some of my own twine for the thread that comes with the folio. I just wanted a thicker, less silky string holding it together. If you have any questions about a particular element feel free to message me and I will do my best to answer.

Cover. This was made using Richele’s directions so it is not my own design. Many of the pages used her designs as inspiration.

Flaps. Collage strips fit perfectly.

The house made an unusual pocket.

The flowers on the collage paper were colored with watercolor pencils.

Have a wonderful week! -Lisa
