Mr. Rabbit has all of your egg dying needs! Had fun playing with this new stamp set along with some older things I’ve had sitting unused in my craft room.
I started with a Tim Holtz framed panel (this size, approx. 6 1/2″x 9″, may be retired). I painted it with Black Soot distress paint, let it dry then coated it heavily with Distress crackle paste in opaque, using a palette knife. Once that was dry, I rubbed it lightly with Vintage Photo distress ink. I love the crackly, distressed look it ended up with. Here is a close-up.

I stamped Mr. Rabbit with Versafine Clair ink in Nocturne on watercolor paper, and colored him with distress watercolor pencils and Prismacolor pencils. After I colored him I re-stamped him (I used a stamping platform) just to bring back some of the black details. I used the polka dot stamp in the set to add some Tattered Rose dots. I inked his name with a black marker on a portion of one of the stamps, and stamped it on a scrap piece of paper that I framed in an old frame I had ( I think it is Stamping Up!). I attached this under him.

I covered the back of the framed panel with a piece of worn wallpaper and linen tape
For the color palette piece, I freehand painted some squares using distress water color pencils blended with a brush. I used Broken China, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet. I stamped the numbers using various bits from the Field Notes stamp set. I finished it with a mini clip and popped it up slightly.

I dyed the tiny resin eggs using alcohol inks in Tranquil (pearl), Gumball, Lemonade, Lettuce and Amethyst (note: the lettuce and Amethyst have the old packaging without the name so those are educated guesses ). They were glued on a bed of moss to a piece of decorative trim I had covered by cutting another piece of worn wallpaper cut using the decorative trims dies. This was glued to the bottom of the framed panel.

Another piece stamped from the stamp set, a piece of mini flair and a couple of items of ephemera completed the piece. Hope you like it. Have a great week! -Lisa
